RaptorCraft Customs Paint Care Plan:

Congratulations on your newly customised vehicle! To ensure the longevity and beauty of your custom spray work with Raptor paint, please follow these care instructions:

1. Initial Care:

  • Allow Adequate Drying Time: After the completion of the custom spray work, it’s essential to allow the paint to cure properly. TrackCraft Performance recommends a minimum drying period of 3 days before exposing the vehicle to water or harsh environmental conditions.

  • Ventilation: Due to the strong odor associated with fresh paint, it’s advisable to keep the vehicle’s windows slightly open during the initial journey home to allow for ventilation and to minimise exposure to fumes.

2. Ongoing Care:

  • Regular Washing: Wash your vehicle regularly using a mild automotive detergent and clean, soft cloths or mitts. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the paint finish.

  • Avoiding Harsh Conditions: Whenever possible, park your vehicle in shaded areas to protect the paint from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause fading and deterioration over time.

  • Avoiding Abrasive Contact: Be mindful of objects that may come into contact with the vehicle’s surface, such as keys, belts, or abrasive clothing. Avoid scratching or rubbing the paint surface to maintain its integrity.

  • Avoiding Chemical Exposure: Avoid exposing the vehicle to harsh chemicals or solvents, such as gasoline, oil, or industrial cleaners, as these may damage the paint finish.

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the paint finish for any signs of damage or wear. Promptly address any chips, scratches, or other imperfections to prevent further deterioration.

3. Professional Maintenance:

  • Annual Inspection: Schedule an annual inspection with TrackCraft Performance or a qualified automotive professional to assess the condition of the paint finish and address any maintenance or repair needs.

4. Warranty Protection:

  • Adherence to Warranty Terms: To maintain the validity of your warranty, adhere to the recommended care instructions provided by TrackCraft Performance. Failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty.

By following these care instructions, you can ensure that your custom spray work with Raptor paint remains in pristine condition for years to come. If you have any questions or concerns regarding maintenance or care, please don’t hesitate to contact TrackCraft Performance for assistance.
